Prepare food according to guest orders, standard recipes and plating standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen. Handle daily kitchen operations, station setup, and monitor temperatures of chillers, freezers and cooking processes. Ensure the work area is clean, organised and properly labelled, and be vigilant about guest allergies and dietary restrictions. Communicate with Sous Chefs and the Executive Chef on menu items, issues or shortages, and store items properly at the end of each shift. Assist in preparing menu items and specials as required.
