When
Work with veterinary nurses, keepers and veterinarians to deliver high-quality clinical and patient care for collection animals. Diagnose illnesses and administer treatments, consulting senior clinicians on complex cases. Assist with preventive medicine programmes including quarantine, routine exams, vaccinations and geriatric care. Provide clinical training and mentorship to veterinary students, and perform basic gross necropsies with diagnostic sampling and accurate record-keeping. Participate in discussions with curators and supervisors on animal welfare, nutrition and husbandry.
