About the role

This role sits with the Billing and Product Cost team in Singapore and reports to the Global Head of Finance. You will provide financial analysis and insight that supports the Push Out Billing strategic objectives, working alongside Billing, IT and the outsourced procurement organisation. It suits an analytical finance professional who is comfortable with large data sets and keen to influence how billing and costing systems work.

What you'll do

Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the push-out billing model so manufacturing partners are billed accurately and on time based on approved material and cost structures
Maintain FBOM so the Engineering BOM converts seamlessly into the Manufacturing BOM, with monthly cross-functional tie out between RDD and Supply Chain

Partner with IT teams to design and implement system capabilities that automate BOM costing, billing generation, validation controls and financial reporting

Put in place controls, reconciliations and audit trails so billing transactions are complete, accurate and supported by underlying BOM and cost data

Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, IT, Supply Chain, RDD, Procurement and manufacturing partners to drive deployment, adoption and continuous improvement of the push-out billing operating model

Requirements

Experience in financial planning, analysis and/or costing
Experience with rigorous financial analysis and large databases
Strong analytical ability and Excel spreadsheet skills
Able to grasp concepts quickly and model data in meaningful ways
Inquisitive and willing to interrogate large data sets, accepting that not every query has an exact answer
Proactive in proposing ideas that challenge the status quo
