About the role
You will be the hands-on owner of the SDLC toolchain that supports engineering teams worldwide, based at the St James Power Station headquarters in Singapore. The role suits a systematic, user-focused engineer who enjoys diagnosing complex tool and pipeline problems and improving how developers work. You will work closely with Product Owners and DevOps Engineers across multiple programmes.
What you'll do
Deploy and configure projects, repositories, pipelines and permission models
Manage workflows, schemes, templates and tool-specific configuration standards
Maintain tool best-practice guidelines and enforce consistent usage
Integrate tools with enterprise identity systems such as SSO, LDAP and Azure AD
Enforce least-privilege access and support audit compliance
Support user onboarding and offboarding
Maintain integrations between Jira, Bitbucket, CI/build systems, SonarQube, BlackDuck and Artifactory
Monitor integration health and resolve cross-tool or cross-pipeline failures
Maintain traceability from plan through code, build, scan and artefact
Monitor system health, logs, utilisation and performance metrics
Respond to incidents, outages and service degradation
Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, backups and restores
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixes and automation
Support global engineering teams with permissions, configuration and workflow issues
Develop how-to guides, configuration standards and troubleshooting documentation
Configure and maintain standard CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates
Optimise build performance through caching, parallelism and artefact reuse
Plan and deliver tool upgrades, patches and migrations

Requirements
Strong hands-on experience operating and configuring SDLC tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Artifactory and SonarQube
Expertise in CI/CD principles, build systems and DevOps ways of working
Experience diagnosing issues across toolchains and integrations
Knowledge of identity systems such as SSO, LDAP and Azure AD
Exposure to scripting for automation in Python, Bash or similar
Understanding of modern software engineering practices and workflows
