About the role
This role sits within the Software, Hardware and Power Systems programme at Dyson's Singapore Technology Centre, where you will independently deliver complex projects in a defined technology or product area. You will act as the single point of contact across NPD and the Software, Hardware and Power System teams, working with a multi-disciplinary group of engineers and reporting to the Senior Programme Manager. It suits an experienced project manager with a strong engineering background who can balance technical, schedule, scope, quality and resource demands.
What you'll do
Independently lead and deliver complex projects in the Software, Hardware and Product Solutions domain, balancing technical, schedule, scope, quality and resource constraints
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, keeping communication clear, effective and timely throughout the project lifecycle
Develop and execute project communication plans, giving stakeholders accurate, concise and actionable updates
Work with external partners and suppliers to ensure deliverables meet agreed milestones, quality standards and business objectives
Own resource allocation and project financials, including budget management and CAPEX planning, with strong financial governance aligned to business priorities
Develop, maintain and drive execution of Level 0-2 project plans, managing dependencies, prioritising activities and escalating unresolved issues
Ensure project readiness and compliance with applicable safety, security, regulatory, manufacturing and quality requirements
Maintain accurate and timely project KPI reporting, giving a clear and transparent view of project health, risks and performance
Champion the adoption of product development processes, engineering best practices and delivery discipline across project teams
Proactively identify, assess and resolve project issues and risks, including risk management, mitigation planning and end-to-end requirements traceability
Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment to achieve project objectives and successful business outcomes
Coach, mentor and support the development of junior project managers and team members
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, operational excellence and high performance across the project team
Ensure lessons learned are captured and applied to improve project execution, delivery efficiency and organisational capability

Requirements
First degree, preferably in engineering, or equivalent
Project management or project lead experience with delivery responsibility
Product development experience in hardware or software is a plus
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and Teams
Understanding of project development tools and methodologies such as Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex engineering projects
