Watch over guests in the pool and recreation areas and respond quickly and correctly in emergencies
Give emergency care and first aid until medical services arrive
Use personal protective equipment when carrying out first aid
Write up and keep incident reports in order
Keep a professional look and manner, and uphold high service standards
Keep the pool surroundings clean and well looked after
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the pool, deck and turnstiles
Coordinate with the Pools and Recreation management team and other departments to follow up on guest requests
Handle pool closure procedures when the weather turns bad
Know the full range of pool and recreation operations, including fire safety and emergency procedures
Keep an eye on activity in the SkyPark and report anything suspicious to the Manager
Build good working ties with other departments to understand their workflows and deliver smooth guest experiences
Know the local area and major happenings in town so you can suggest things for guests to do
Follow workplace safety and health guidelines
Meet departmental and company standards
Join training sessions when scheduled
Take on admin tasks such as filing reports
Attend departmental meetings and daily briefings
Share ideas for improving pool and recreation operations
Help the department reach its goals
