Manager, Category Management (pandamart)

About the role

You will own the sourcing and merchandising of an assigned category within the pandamart groceries business. This includes full P&L responsibility for revenue, margin and supplier income, and developing category strategies to meet KPIs. You will negotiate cost, funding and terms with suppliers, secure supplier marketing spend, and ensure a reliable flow of goods to the fulfilment centre. You will also work with marketing and supply chain to forecast demand and ensure consistent supply, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, Imports, Pricing, Strategy, Finance and Marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant
• 5+ years' relevant work experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, account and category management
• Demonstrated track record of successful negotiations and relationship management
• Strong analytical skills
• Great communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficient in MS Office & G-suite
