Manager, Finance (GL & Tax)

About the role

You will maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring journal entries are properly recorded, reviewed and approved, and reconciling sub-ledgers such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets. You will own the month-end and year-end close process, certifying entity reporting submissions and reconciling intercompany transactions before group consolidation. You will prepare audited and statutory financial statements, audit schedules and supporting documentation, and coordinate with internal teams and external auditors. You will also handle account reconciliations and analysis, ensure compliance with internal controls and FRS, and prepare and file direct and indirect tax returns including corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax and property tax. In addition, you will work with IT and ERP teams on system and process improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in finance, accounting or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GL, financial close and tax scope
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and organisational skills
