About the role

A senior credit risk leadership role at a long-established Singapore bank, sitting within its Global Corporate Banking business. You will act as a front-line risk approver and portfolio manager across specialised finance sectors, working closely with business and risk partners. It suits a deeply experienced credit professional who is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.

What you'll do

Review and approve credit proposals for the Global Corporate Banking portfolio, including specialised finance deals in real estate, project, shipping and aviation, and leveraged acquisition finance across the bank's footprint markets
Work with business teams to spot early warning signals and manage stressed accounts so impairment provisions stay low

Identify emerging risks across the portfolio, geographies and industry sectors, and drive mitigation strategies

Partner with business stakeholders to produce portfolio reports for senior management that flag concerns and opportunities

Represent Corporate Banking on divisional and cross-functional projects covering credit risk, Basel and credit process improvements

Work with Group Risk Management on credit policy, risk rating models and the credit framework for Global Corporate Banking

Requirements

At least 20 years of banking and credit experience
Credit expertise across multiple sectors such as real estate, project finance and corporate lending
Experience in geographies matching the bank's footprint
Strong credit risk evaluation, structuring and risk management skills
Solid understanding of the global corporate banking business
Good knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory guidelines
