About the role
This role supports train operations by planning the materials needed to keep services running. You will develop and carry out material planning strategies, manage sourcing, and work with internal teams and external partners on provisioning plans that align with company objectives. It suits someone with a supply chain or engineering background who is comfortable with data, contracts, and fast-paced coordination.
What you'll do
- Formulate, execute, and track material planning to meet train operations requirements
- Work with the Procurement Office to set up price-competitive and sustainable framework agreements so materials stay available
- Ensure purchase contracts and agreements are renewed on time, material requisitions are fulfilled, and supplier and non-supplier receipt discrepancies are resolved for successful goods receipt
