About the role

This is an early career programme in security at Marina Bay Sands, covering Security Operations, Event Security, Operations Control, and Business Continuity Management. It suits fresh diploma or degree holders with under two years of full-time experience who want hands-on exposure and a path towards junior leadership. You will work alongside experienced security professionals to protect guests and property across a large integrated resort.

What you'll do

Monitor assigned zones and ensure security protocols are followed
Conduct routine patrols and inspections of guest areas and back-of-house facilities
Check access control points and verify credentials for restricted areas
Record and report irregularities, suspicious activities, or safety hazards
Support supervision of Security Team Members in specific roles
Respond to incidents, assist investigations, and uphold security standards
Deliver guest service while maintaining vigilance
Implement emergency procedures and support crisis response
Represent Security at pre-event planning meetings for conferences and entertainment events
Assist with resource planning, site inspections, stakeholder briefings, and event contingency planning
Support daily Control Room operations and monitor security systems
Vet incident reports and provide insights to management
Liaise with internal departments and external agencies
Maintain control room equipment and ensure confidentiality of CCTV data
Analyse irregular, suspicious, or illegal activities and escalate appropriately
Assist in safe evacuation procedures during emergencies
Support development and execution of Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management strategies
Maintain BCM dashboards and documentation
Coordinate with vendors on BCM technology solutions
Assist in drafting emergency response plans and continuity frameworks
Organise and participate in drills and exercises with internal teams and government agencies
Provide research and analysis on security trends and risk factors
Manage project documentation and support project delivery

Good to know

First six months attached to Security Operations
Must apply for a Special Employee License from the Gambling Regulatory Authority
Must complete mandatory training for a Security Officer License
Sponsored for Police Regulatory Department Security Officer License and Business Continuity Certified Professional certification
May be placed into a junior leadership role after successful completion and performance review

Requirements

Diploma or degree in any discipline, or final-year student able to start upon graduation
Less than 2 years of full-time work experience
