About the role

This role sits with a fashion retail team in Singapore, focused on planning ranges and keeping sales, stock and markdowns on track. It suits someone who enjoys fashion, works well with numbers and likes solving problems with partners across the business.

What you'll do

Work with franchise partners to set seasonal open-to-buy and keep it aligned with financial targets
Forecast order quantities for the assigned category
Take tactical steps to meet KPIs such as sales targets, sell-through and closing stock levels
Help run pre-season work including launch planning, allocation plans, new season pricing and range planning
Curate product assortments and optimise performance across the product life cycle
Support in-season work such as repeat orders, markdowns and consolidation

Build and maintain good working relationships within the team, with other functions and with franchise partners

Understand country and partner differences and the competitive landscape to improve business results

Join departmental projects to improve IT systems or team and company productivity

Full-time role based in Singapore
Candidates without prior experience may be considered

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Retail Management, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or Supply Chain
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred, though those without experience may be considered
General knowledge of merchandising, the buying process and products
Strong computing skills and proficiency in MS Excel
Positive attitude and able to work under pressure
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
