About the role

This role sits with a fashion brand's merchandising team, focused on the men's and unisex lines across shoes, bags and accessories. You will shape collection plans, manage product ranges and use market and sales data to guide buying and pricing decisions. It suits someone with a strong fashion sense, an analytical streak and prior merchandising experience in regional markets.

What you'll do

Plan and roll out the men's and unisex product lines for shoes, bags and accessories.
Build regional collection plans and must-have items using brand direction, trends and market knowledge.
Carry out commercial actions aimed at lifting sales.
Study the market for trends, compile competitor shopping analysis and present conclusions that feed into future product lines.

Work with R&D, Supply Chain and Merchandise Planning to develop best sellers, core and highlight styles that support brand storytelling and commercial viability.

Partner with the Merchandising Planning Team to grow category performance and profitability in each market.

Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising team on product display to drive consumer interest and sales.

Maintain and improve the item classification guide so classifications stay compliant and useful for analysis.

Develop suggested retail pricing strategy with the Merchandising Planning Team and spot pricing gaps and needs.

Set seasonal price points based on margins, perceived product value and market competitiveness.

Align stakeholders on seasonal deliverables and timelines.

Share the season's merchandising strategy and key initiatives with internal and external buying teams.

Build dashboard charts using Qliksense, Excel and in-house product life cycle software.

Run post-launch and post-buy global performance reviews by season, product line and region, and give feedback and action plans per category.

Track sales performance and identify market gaps to feed back into collection planning.

Requirements

Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management or Business
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Experience working with regional markets, particularly South-East Asia and Greater China
Business fluency in English and Mandarin
Analytical, data-driven approach with a focus on results
Strong Excel skills
