About the role

This role is for an experienced network engineer to support and improve enterprise network environments across different industries. You will handle complex technical issues, lead network projects, and work with teams across the business to keep services running smoothly. It suits someone with a strong enterprise networking background who is comfortable with on-call duties and high-pressure escalations.

What you'll do

Provide expert technical support for complex enterprise network environments
Design, implement, and optimise network solutions across various industries
Troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues to minimise downtime
Lead high-priority network projects, including tech-refresh initiatives
Take part in 24/7 on-call rotation and critical network escalations

Carry out network maintenance such as security configurations, patches, and upgrades

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability reviews on network infrastructure

Monitor and analyse network performance and recommend improvements

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex network issues

Prepare detailed reports and presentations on network status and performance

Good to know

24/7 on-call rotation is required

Requirements

Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
5+ years of network engineering experience in medium to large organisations
Expert knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, FTTH, SASE, and SD-WAN
Proficiency in WLAN solutions, especially Aruba and Aruba ClearPass
Advanced certifications preferred (Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Huawei HCIP/HCIE, NCE, Aruba ACCP)
Hands-on experience with firewall and security technologies
