About the role
This role sits within the Chief Risk Officer division of a wealth management bank in Singapore, supporting the Head of Non-Financial Risk Control for Asia. You will cover data loss prevention and wider non-financial risk control work, partnering with teams across the region and with global colleagues. It suits someone with a banking information security background who is comfortable advising stakeholders and handling incidents.
What you'll do
Run and keep improving data loss prevention systems covering data at rest and data in motion across Asia
Review and strengthen data loss prevention policies so they match business needs, regulatory duties and information security standards
Oversee platform upgrades, releases and migrations in the region

Monitor, review, investigate and follow up on data loss prevention alerts and incidents
Handle incidents end to end, including investigation, coordinating stakeholders, escalation and closure under the bank's breach management framework
Produce incident metrics, trend analysis and breach reports for stakeholder groups
Support governance and enhancement work such as roadmap planning, regional engagement with Head Office and ad-hoc business or regulatory projects
Raise data loss prevention awareness with business partners and help embed controls and policies
Assist Non-Financial Risk Asia investigations, including operating relevant tools
Review, maintain and coordinate updates to information security policies and guidelines, and clarify them for business stakeholders
Give security risk advice and risk management support for new initiatives in Asia
Own assigned non-financial risk controls, making sure they are completed on time, effective and compliant
Support internal and external audits by coordinating reviews, gathering evidence and tracking remediation
Advise on information security areas such as client identifying data, cross-border data transfer, data ownership, data protection and data export controls
Work with global, regional and local stakeholders on information risk matters, and communicate risk insights and control requirements to senior management
Demonstrate ethical and compliant behaviour, including honesty, integrity, due care, fair dealing, managing conflicts of interest and continuous development

Full time position based in Singapore
You will work closely with global counterparts in Switzerland on rolling out global initiatives in Asia
Collaboration with Front, IT, Corporate Services and other functions is expected
Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-driven and able to work independently on initiatives and tasks
Able to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts constructively
Resilient and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Confident engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
