You will manage a caseload across disciplines such as community, geriatrics, hands, neurology, orthopaedics and weight management, working independently on complex cases while knowing when to seek guidance. This role suits a registered therapist who is comfortable in a multi-disciplinary team and committed to ongoing professional development.

Handle proper charging procedures
Use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus hospital electronic medical records
Maintain workload statistics for the rehabilitation department and hospital
Coordinate processes and workflow within teams
Educate patients and care-givers
Provide cross-coverage for colleagues to balance workload
Provide after-hours and on-call therapist services when required
Help with care and maintenance of equipment, materials and resources
Attend department meetings, ward rounds and professional meetings
Liaise with healthcare professionals within the hospital and external organisations
Take part in department activities such as the Fitness Challenge
Pursue continuous professional development, including independent reading and courses
Contribute to colleagues' development through in-services, peer reviews and audits
Assist with on-the-job training of therapy assistants
Help supervise therapy assistants and attached personnel
Contribute to quality improvement projects and initiatives
Report to the Senior Occupational Therapist or Manager
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager Good to know At least 100 hours of training per year as assigned by the Training Centre Occasional contribution to team or departmental projects outside office hours Must adhere to hospital and department policies and procedures Requirements Recognised Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy Non-recognised qualification with relevant credentials such as qualifying exams Registered with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) Membership of the Singapore Occupational Therapist Association or equivalent is highly recommended Reasonable clinical reasoning Entry-level skills and knowledge Apply on the company website
