About the role

This role handles accounts payable operations for the Australia portfolio on a one-year contract, based in Singapore. You will work with the finance team and various stakeholders to keep vendor payments, reconciliations and compliance running smoothly. It suits someone with a few years of AP experience who is meticulous and comfortable working to tight deadlines.

What you'll do

Review purchase requisitions for completeness and policy compliance
Process vendor invoices and employee claims for timely payment
Monitor goods and service receipt confirmations for three-way matching
Perform bank and vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Schedule and run weekly vendor and employee payments

Ensure financial policies and controls are followed

Handle audit confirmations and support internal and external audit queries

Manage the AP mailbox and work with stakeholders to resolve queries

Take part in UAT and system enhancement initiatives

Based in Singapore

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
3–4 years of accounts payable experience
Familiarity with the procure-to-pay process is an advantage
Knowledge of GST and withholding tax
Proficient in MS Office
SAP or Great Plains experience preferred
