About the role

This role sits within Citi's Markets business in Singapore, supporting FX settlement and derivatives processing for corporate, institutional and government clients. It suits an experienced operations or settlements professional who is comfortable working with regional and country stakeholders in a fast-moving trading environment.

What you'll do

Engage proactively with Singapore country and APAC regional stakeholders across Business, Technology, Finance/PCG and Operations to support clients trading Markets products
Drive and implement sustainable processes, automation and migration initiatives, and adherence to policies
Work closely with Operations Control to develop and maintain an effective control framework meeting Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requirements, including periodic presentations to external regulators

Help shape and build standardised, sustainable operational workflows and service standards for new product and production variations launched by the APAC FXLM business

Ensure robust infrastructure and tools such as dashboards, MIS and alerts are in place to manage risk and maintain high service standards

Prepare and publish MIS information for regular management updates

Focus on digitisation, automation and removal of manual touch points

Support people and engagement efforts to attract, develop, retain and recognise a diverse global workforce

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a strong service and control environment

Coach and mentor team members, and participate in diversity and inclusion activities

Requirements

Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
3–7+ years of experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions
Extensive experience handling large projects delivering operational activities, especially in foreign exchange products
Strong risk management and control mindset
Awareness of external and internal best practice perspectives
Self-reliant, good problem solver and results oriented
