About the role

Join Citi's Markets business in Singapore as an FX Settlement Senior Analyst, supporting settlement processing and derivatives review for a global trading operation. This hybrid role suits an experienced banking operations professional who can handle complex, fast-paced settlement work and guide junior colleagues. You will work closely with traders and internal teams to keep transactions accurate and compliant.

What you'll do

Process FX transaction settlements and provide analytical input for traders
Assist in reviewing derivative products
Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues promptly
Recommend process improvements to leadership
Monitor errors and suggest solutions to reduce risk to the bank

Escalate transaction processing issues to the relevant department and collaborate on fixes

Ensure processes follow audit and control policies

Provide training and guidance to junior staff on Maker processes

Assess risk in business decisions and uphold compliance with laws, rules and policies

Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience in banking operations preferred
2–5+ years of experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions
Extensive experience handling large projects and operational activities, especially in foreign exchange products
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks under stress
Self-reliant, good problem solver and results oriented
Able to exercise evaluative judgment in complicated, unique and dynamic situations
