Pre-Construction Manager - Data Centre

About the role

Lead pre-construction activities for data centre development projects, including planning, design coordination, cost management, procurement support, risk assessment, and stakeholder management. Ensure projects are fully prepared for construction execution while meeting technical, commercial, and operational requirements. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders on project planning and design development. Review architectural, civil, structural, and MEP designs to ensure compliance with data centre standards and project requirements. Support budgeting, cost estimation, value engineering, and procurement planning. Drive tendering processes, vendor evaluations, and contract award recommendations.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
• 5-8 years of project, engineering, construction, or infrastructure experience for Assistant Manager
• 8-12+ years of relevant experience for Manager, with at least 3-5 years in data centre or mission-critical projects
• Proven experience managing pre-construction, design, and stakeholder coordination for large-scale developments
• Knowledge of data centre infrastructure, MEP systems, and project delivery processes
• Understanding of Uptime Institute Tier standards and mission-critical environments
