About the role
You will own the Equities product and its online trading platform for the country, shaping product strategy and proposition to hit revenue targets. The role sits within a wealth and consumer banking environment, working with teams across governance, operations, technology and marketing. It suits someone with financial markets experience who can work independently and engage senior stakeholders.
What you'll do
Drive Equities (Online Trading) revenue and AUM growth to meet business targets, including new business and strategic initiatives
Provide regular product and platform updates to clients and frontline teams, including corporate action matters
Work with cross-functional counterparts across products, governance, process, legal and compliance, operations and technology

Lead innovation and delivery of new products, platform capabilities and campaign or promotion ideas
Use analytics to support business decisions and monitor the business line for opportunities and growth
Partner with operations to ensure smooth trading processes with minimal errors, including platform settlement and corporate actions
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Group and country teams, operations, client experience, call-centre, investment advisory, asset allocation, marketing and wealth client engagement
Oversee timely delivery of strategic projects and platform enhancements, including vendor and technology project team management
Ensure Equities product governance matters are up to date and comply with internal and external standards and regulatory requirements, including Country Addendums
Ensure processes comply with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards and codes, including Compliance, Technology and Operations, and Finance
Monitor and grow the Equities portfolio in a stable and diversified manner
Develop enhanced platform tools and capabilities, ensure training and improve systems for stable growth of the equities product line
Partner with operations and technology teams to keep trading, settlement and corporate action processes robust
Maintain awareness of the regulatory framework and obligations relevant to the role
Embed the Group's brand and values across Consumer, Private and Business Banking

Take personal responsibility for embedding high ethical standards, including regulatory and business conduct
Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters

Requirements
Preferably a graduate degree
3+ years of experience in financial markets and/or products
Strong financial and data analysis skills
Experience in Retail or Consumer Banking segment with global markets knowledge is preferred
Familiarity with current Fintech and investment capabilities is an advantage
Able to work independently and engage senior management
