Psychologist, Dept of Child Development (Contract)

About the role

You will join a multidisciplinary team providing specialist diagnostic and intervention services to preschoolers with developmental, emotional and behavioural needs. Your duties include conducting assessments for autism diagnosis, making intervention recommendations and advising on educational placements. You will deliver evidence-based psychological interventions for mood, anxiety and behavioural issues. You will also work across disciplines to deliver transdisciplinary services and may be involved in research and service projects.

Requirements

• At least a Master Degree in Psychology (Clinical /Educational) with practicum component
• Eligible for Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) full membership
• Eligible for registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP)
• Effective interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills, and good psychological report writing skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, and in a fast paced environment
• Preferably with working experience with young children (i.e., toddlers and preschoolers) and/or with children with autism
