About the role
This role supports the purchasing and inventory function at Moxy Singapore Clarke Quay, keeping food stock, orders and invoices accurate and well documented. It suits someone with some related experience who is comfortable with figures, computer systems and the physical demands of a hotel storeroom and delivery area.
Work out figures for food inventories, orders and costs
Keep records clear and organised so reports and invoices are filed and stored correctly
Post invoices using computer programs
Carry out inventory audits to check stock levels and needs
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
Tell your manager or supervisor when stock is running low
Check and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs
Match shipping invoices against receiving reports to confirm counts are accurate
Receive, unload and process deliveries
Reject damaged, unacceptable or incorrect items
Handle vendor delivery problems and oversee the return process
Follow food safety and handling policies across all food-related areas
Monitor PAR levels for all food items
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to your manager, and complete safety training and certifications
Follow company policies and procedures, keep your uniform and appearance clean and professional, protect confidential information and company assets
Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare written documents accurately and answer phones with proper etiquette
Build positive working relationships and support the team towards shared goals
Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
Read and check information in different formats, including small print
Inspect tools, equipment and machines for defects
Enter and find work information using computers or point of sale systems
Stand, sit or walk for long periods or a whole shift
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 pounds without help
Move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces and over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
Take on other reasonable duties as asked by supervisors
