About the role
This role supports preventive and corrective maintenance of the Thomson–East Coast Line mainline and depot tracks, third rails, tunnels and related peripherals. You will be part of the permanent way maintenance team, working with contractors and reporting to an Assistant Engineer. It suits someone with a technical background who is comfortable working under pressure and can work independently.
What you'll do
- Maintain MRT tracks, third rails, tunnels and associated peripherals to meet LTA licence, code of practice and maintenance manual requirements
- Plan, monitor and review preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections and ad hoc projects so they are completed on time
- Supervise permanent way maintenance teams and contractors carrying out outsourced works
