About the role
This role leads the regional events and activations strategy for Southeast Asia and Oceania, sitting within the Regional Brand Experience team. You will translate Maison priorities into distinctive, culturally relevant experiences that strengthen brand desirability and drive engagement, acting as the regional centre of expertise. It suits an experienced events or luxury marketing professional who is creative, organised and comfortable influencing stakeholders across markets.

Formulate and deploy the regional Events & Activations strategy.
Lead investment discussions and resource planning to balance commercial opportunities with brand impact and client relevance.

Establish a clear regional roadmap across key launches, celebrations, cultural moments, client events and commercial priorities.
Identify opportunities to create distinctive experiential platforms and balance regional consistency with market-specific opportunities.
Define KPIs for evaluating event effectiveness, engagement and business impact.
Act as a strategic partner and centre of expertise for market Events teams, and guardian of Cartier's experiential standards.
Translate and adapt global concepts and toolkits for SEAO while monitoring emerging trends.
Propose opportunities to engage audiences through new formats, partnerships and experiences.
Develop scalable experiential concepts and activation platforms that bring stories, creations and cultural narratives to life across markets, audiences and occasions.
Act as key liaison with regional creative agencies and external specialists, and maintain relationships with local agencies and production partners.
Champion innovative event approaches that go beyond traditional formats to create stronger emotional connections.
Manage regional events and priority market activations end-to-end, from concept and briefing to execution and post-event evaluation.
Build frameworks and toolkits and share best practices to empower markets, and challenge proposals to ensure creative excellence and appropriate investment.
Analyse post-event results and translate learnings into future planning and optimisation.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to markets on event strategy, production approach, supplier selection and execution.
Anticipate operational, production and execution challenges and provide solutions that protect the guest experience and uphold Maison codes and quality standards.
Establish governance such as review and approval processes for key market activations.
Partner with Client Experience, Visual Experience and Store VM to ensure coherent client and visual experiences.
Collaborate with MCC, Commercial/Retail and CRM teams to integrate events into broader business and communication strategies.

Requirements
5-7 years of relevant experience in managing events and brand activations, or luxury/experiential marketing, preferably in the luxury or premium sector
Proven experience in end-to-end event management from conceptualisation to execution in regional or multicultural environments
Creative, curious and passionate about luxury brand experiences, with strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
Highly organised, structured and excellent project management capabilities, able to navigate complex regional projects, competing priorities, budgets and timelines
Proven ability to effectively manage and influence diverse stakeholders within a matrix set-up
Analytical, with strong financial and performance acumen
