About the role

This role keeps the manufacturing equipment at ResMed running reliably. You will handle routine servicing, diagnose faults and support upgrades while following safety and quality standards. It suits someone with strong mechanical and electrical know-how who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting in a team setting.

What you'll do

Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
Carry out breakdown maintenance tasks
Set up and configure equipment, tools and fixtures
Analyse faults on equipment
Spot equipment problems, report them and arrange repairs
Keep the workplace compliant with OH&S, 5S and GMP rules
Work with other departments to monitor equipment and tooling faults and performance, and put maintenance or repair schedules in place
Take part in continuous improvement work
Record and document maintenance activities
Handle other tasks as asked to help the business meet its goals

Requirements

At least a Diploma or National Trade Certificate (NTC) in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or automation
Strong mechanical skills
Good electrical knowledge of machines
Able to read, interpret and understand engineering drawings and schematics
Good written and verbal communication
Good computer skills
