Research Assistant/Associate, AI in Medicine

About the role

Support the daily operations, AV/IT systems, procurement, audits and documentation of a university-level AI in Medicine research centre. Provide behavioural, communications and social science research support for healthcare AI implementation projects, including survey design, interviews, focus groups, observational and simulation studies, cohort recruitment and data analysis. Help coordinate research teams, collaborators, vendors and administrative units, and assist with grant proposals, ethics submissions, reports and manuscripts. Maintain inventories, records and operational trackers to keep the centre running smoothly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Assistant) or Master's degree (Associate) in Social Sciences, Communications, Psychology, Behavioural Science, Sociology, Economics, Econometrics, Public Health, Health Services Research, Implementation Science, Health Informatics, Data Science or related discipline
• Training or experience in behavioural, communication, psychology, social science or econometric research methods
• Experience with survey design, interviews, focus groups, observational studies, simulation-based studies, conversational analysis, implementation evaluation or mixed-methods research
• Ability to support healthcare AI implementation studies on human-machine interaction, user behaviour, trust, acceptability, adoption, communication practices, workflow fit and outcomes-based evidence
• Competence in preparing, cleaning, organising and analysing qualitative, quantitative or mixed-methods data
• Familiarity with statistical, qualitative or econometric analysis
