About the role

You will develop high throughput phenotyping protocols for indoor farming, using automated transpiration measurement, RGB and 3D imaging, and chlorophyll fluorescence imaging. You will build analysis tools and AI-based image analysis and predictive models to assess abiotic and biotic stress tolerance and predict yield and quality. You will also set up tests of products such as CRISPR or EMS mutants from other work packages. You will document results and contribute to reports, publications, and presentations.

Requirements

Master's degree in Plant Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Statistics or Image analysis
Basic understanding of plant phenotyping and analysis of large data sets
Preferably experience with AI tools for image analysis
Strong analytical skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
