The Earth Observatory of Singapore at NTU is hiring a Research Associate to study earthquake hazards and improve disaster mapping using remote sensing and space geodesy. You will research fault geometry and rheology, generate rapid disaster maps for earthquakes and volcanic activity, and enhance InSAR processing algorithms for Southeast Asia. The role involves applying machine learning to deformation and coherence time series analysis and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to turn research into operational applications. You are encouraged to publish one peer-reviewed technical paper per year.
