About the role
This role focuses on finding and qualifying potential clients, growing existing accounts, and closing deals with guidance from a supervisor. You will keep customers updated on new products and services, research the market for sales opportunities, and assess what each customer needs. It suits someone self-motivated who puts the customer first, can explain product value clearly, and treats rejection as motivation to succeed next time.
What you'll do
- Qualify and contact prospective clients
- Up-sell to existing clients
- Close business under close supervision
- Keep clients informed of new products and service offerings
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities
- Evaluate customer needs
- Forecast and manage the pipeline of opportunities
- Support the answering of technical and procedural questions
- Coordinate the formulation of price quotations
- Submit sales contracts for orders and maintain customer records
