About the role
This role sits with the Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine in Singapore, working on cyber-physical systems that link physical and numerical simulation in real time. You would join a research team handling control algorithm development alongside grant and industry project work. It suits a PhD holder in a relevant engineering field who is comfortable with LabVIEW-based control and data acquisition systems.
What you'll do
- Develop and refine closed-loop control algorithms for real-time coupling of physical and numerical simulation, covering kinematic and force observers, sensor fusion, friction and delay compensation, force allocation, and feed-forward and feedback.
