About the role

This role sits with SingHealth's Office of Insights & Analytics, supporting analytics applications inside the Epic electronic medical records platform. You will work with clinical, administrative and IT teams across a large public healthcare cluster, and it suits someone analytical who enjoys configuring systems, validating data and supporting users.

What you'll do

Configure analytics applications in the EMR system, adjusting settings to match reporting needs
Test changes in designated test environments before they go live
Run volume testing in live environments to confirm system stability

Review and validate reports and analytics outputs for consistency, accuracy and completeness

Peer review SQL-based metrics and correct discrepancies

Maintain data governance practices

Build and modify reports, dashboards and visualisations of EMR data

Distribute analytics content to stakeholders on time

Maintain the data catalogue and metadata records

Ensure EMR analytics applications work with external analytics platforms

Follow change management processes with clear written and spoken communication

Train users on analytics applications

Coordinate between clinical, administrative and IT teams so solutions meet user needs, including secretariat duties for assigned workgroups

Provide on-site user support during implementation

Take scheduled on-call duties to troubleshoot and track issues

Support post-implementation monitoring to find gaps in analytics functionality

Lead EMR data extract projects and interfaces with downstream systems, working with application teams, vendors and system owners to design, test and implement extracts

Monitor extract performance, troubleshoot problems and ensure data quality and timely delivery

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, System Engineering or a related quantitative field
At least 2 years of relevant working experience
User-focused design and data visualisation skills
Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
Demonstrated experience with analytics tools
Experience working with business and technology stakeholders on data products
