Senior Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting

About the role

You will lead month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial statements, reports, schedules and reconciliations. You will develop management reports with variance and trend analysis to support decision-making, and conduct cost analysis and cost-benefit assessments. You will support the annual budget cycle, including consolidation of submissions and management presentations, as well as external and internal audits. You will also strengthen internal controls, financial policies and SOPs, and contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (ACCA)
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial closing, management reporting or a similar finance role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Solid working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
• Analytical and detail-oriented, able to present financial findings clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Self-starter who manages priorities well and works collaboratively across functions
