About the role

This role sits with the analytics team at a technology centre in Singapore, where you will take a lead position on business intelligence and analytics work. You will guide a small group of BI scientists on selected projects and shape how the wider analytics function operates. It suits an experienced analytics professional who enjoys both hands-on technical delivery and influencing stakeholders.

What you'll do

Architect and build scalable dashboards, data models and reporting solutions on BI and visualisation platforms such as Tableau, bringing in AI and GenAI techniques where useful
Lead technical delivery of BI projects from gathering requirements and acquiring data through to deployment
Turn complex business questions and stakeholder needs into analytics solutions and visualisations that support decision-making

Carry out advanced analyses such as statistical modelling, segmentation and text analytics or NLP to surface trends and opportunities

Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers and data professionals across the analytics development lifecycle

Guide sprint planning, agile ceremonies and collaborative workshops to keep delivery timely and high quality

Mentor colleagues, take part in peer reviews and promote good practice within the BI and analytics community

Lead a small team of BI scientists on specific projects

Set and maintain standards for data accuracy, security and quality across analytics work

Monitor and validate BI solutions, iterating on dashboards and models as requirements and feedback change

Keep thorough documentation of technical processes, analytics workflows and outcomes

Assess emerging BI, data and analytics technologies, including AI and GenAI, and make the case for adopting them

Contribute strategic ideas to the analytics roadmap, including automating workflows and streamlining processes

Encourage knowledge sharing, continuous learning and collaboration across teams

Good to know

Based at the Singapore Technology Centre
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related STEM field required
At least 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics or similar roles required
Experience with cloud analytics platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform, is an advantage

At least 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics or related analytics roles
Proven expertise with BI or visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or QlikView
Substantial experience building interactive dashboards and scalable data models
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python or PySpark for analytics, automation and data manipulation
Strong experience with data modelling, ETL development and advanced analytics such as predictive modelling, machine learning or GenAI
