About the role

This role provides support to nursing staff in inpatient wards, helping deliver patient-centred care through clinical, operational and ward duties. It suits someone comfortable in a hospital ward setting who can work rotating shifts and communicate simply in English.

What you'll do

Assist Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in providing safe, timely and quality patient care in inpatient wards

Give direct patient care such as personal hygiene, elimination needs, feeding assistance, repositioning and mobility support

Take and accurately record patients' vital signs and basic clinical observations

Help with patient admissions, examinations, procedures, transfers and discharges

Support nursing and clinical procedures including wound care assistance, IV-related support, bladder scans and initiating emergency response

Coordinate ward activities such as bed management, patient movements and visitor management

Provide basic patient and family education on ward orientation and infection control practices

Handle clerical and documentation support, including medical records and discharge-related tasks

1-year contract
Three rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Morning shift: 8.00am start, end between 4.00pm and 6.00pm
Afternoon shift: start between 11.00am and 1.00pm, end between 7.00pm and 9.00pm
Night shift: 8.00pm to 8.00am
Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only

Requirements

Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma or equivalent
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to read, write and converse in simple English
Willing to work 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
