About the role

Evaluate credit applications from various business units, identifying and mitigating credit risks. Approve applications within delegated lending authority or recommend to the next approving level. Review and affirm or override credit risk grades for corporate, institutional, commercial, and financial institution clients. Ensure compliance with the bank's credit guidelines, MAS regulations, and address audit or MAS issues. Conduct joint customer visits and assist with departmental operations and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

Degree or professional qualification in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or related field
Minimum 10 years experience in credit risk evaluation or analysis of corporate, SME and retail lending
Knowledge of MAS statutory requirements for retail lending
Strong credit writing and analytical skills in corporate/SME lending
Good communication and interpersonal skills
