Senior Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

You will operate, maintain and support mission-critical electrical infrastructure such as UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers and PDUs. You will lead electrical troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and critical switching operations to keep the data center running reliably. You will monitor BMS and EPMS systems, respond to alarms, and identify risks before they affect service. You will also prepare technical documents, manage vendors, lead incident response and root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience operating and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure
• Experience with UPS systems, diesel generators, switchgear, transformers and low/medium voltage distribution
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and perform root cause analysis
• Experience leading maintenance vendors and coordinating infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, operational risk management and permit-to-work processes
