Use Salesforce APIs to connect with third-party systems and whole-of-government components
Design end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Service, Experience, Marketing and Data Cloud
Define scalable data models, security models and integration patterns
Lead technical design sessions, produce architecture diagrams and review solution blueprints
Set standards for custom development (Apex, LWC, Flow) and platform configuration
Establish and enforce governance frameworks covering naming conventions, data quality, API usage and release management
Ensure compliance with internal policies, PDPA and security standards
Act as gatekeeper for technical design reviews against architectural guardrails
Oversee DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and deployment governance
Guide developers, admins and external vendors on best practices
Mentor junior architects and admins on Salesforce capabilities
Partner with enterprise architects to align Salesforce with wider IT strategy
Drive resolution of complex technical issues across environments
Define and implement integration patterns including REST, SOAP and middleware such as AWS
Design secure authentication and authorisation models (SSO, OAuth, SAML, Identity Licenses)
Ensure robust data protection and encryption mechanisms
Create and maintain technical documentation such as architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams and integration specifications
Review and approve vendor documentation against internal standards
