Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Clinical Governance)

About the role

You will support patient care by reviewing medical records, investigating clinical incidents and analysing clinical events. You will conduct audits and checks to ensure the hospital complies with regulatory and standards requirements. You will work with staff to develop safety programmes and implement initiatives that reduce patient harm and improve healthcare outcomes. You will also prepare reports, maintain databases and support patient safety training, workshops and education. Administrative duties and other supportive tasks within the department may be assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred, or a non-healthcare degree with strong knowledge of the hospital care setting
• Minimum 2 years' relevant healthcare experience; entry-level candidates with genuine interest in health systems and patient safety may be considered
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Meticulous attention to detail and sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
