About the role
This role sits within NUCOHS at the National University Hospital, blending data analytics work with procurement and contract management. You will turn clinical, operational and financial data into insights that guide decisions, while also running procurement activities that keep goods and services flowing on time. It suits someone with a few years of procurement experience who is comfortable with dashboards, reporting and working alongside clinicians and other stakeholders.
What you'll do
Work with clinicians and operational stakeholders to gather, manage and analyse clinical, operational and financial data
Design, build and maintain dashboards, scorecards and reports for performance monitoring and management decisions
Carry out data mining, trend analysis, benchmarking and forecasting to spot improvement and resource optimisation opportunities
Support clinician performance tracking, research projects, quality improvement work and data submissions through extraction, validation and analysis
Create automated reporting and data visualisation solutions to make reporting faster, more accessible and more accurate
Maintain data integrity, governance and consistency across reports, dashboards and databases
Lead end-to-end procurement including sourcing, quotation and tender exercises, vendor evaluation, contract administration, purchase requisitions and purchase orders
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, give procurement advice and develop value-for-money sourcing strategies
Manage vendor relationships, monitor contract utilisation and supplier performance, and oversee contract renewals
Conduct spend analysis, market benchmarking and demand forecasting to find cost savings and process improvements
Drive procurement improvement through data analytics, process review and automation, and prepare procurement reports and insights
Ensure compliance with NUHS procurement policies, governance and financial procedures, keeping documentation audit-ready and risks controlled
Handle any ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting officer or HOD

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field
Professional certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, procurement or process improvement are an advantage
At least 2 years of relevant procurement experience, ideally in healthcare, public sector or a large corporate setting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
Python and SQL experience for data analysis, automation and process improvement is highly preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
