Senior Executive, NCIS (Communications & Strategic Engagement)

You will support communications and strategic engagement for the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), focusing on its scientific research, education and innovation work. Reporting to a Manager, you will join a team that works with clinical, research and administrative colleagues to share NCIS's work with internal and external audiences. This role suits a creative, driven communicator who enjoys turning complex medical and scientific topics into clear content and coordinating programmes and events.

What you'll do: • Write articles, newsletters, reports and institutional publications for research, education and innovation communications • Turn complex medical and scientific information into accessible content for healthcare professionals, researchers, patients and the public • Plan social media content, coordinate content calendars, draft posts and monitor engagement • Produce and edit video content, from filming through to post-production • Design digital assets, event collaterals, presentations and educational resources using tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite • Help plan and run integrated communications campaigns, especially for key and emerging innovation areas • Create content plans and creative assets that communicate the impact of innovation work • Track and report campaign performance and use insights to refine messaging • Work with clinical, research and innovation teams to keep campaign content accurate and relevant • Support planning and execution of scientific, research, education and innovation events, including symposiums, seminars, forums and stakeholder sessions • Coordinate event logistics such as programme timelines, speaker liaison, registration, venue arrangements, vendor coordination, publicity materials and on-site support • Prepare event communications including invitations, EDMs, social media posts, write-ups, presentation materials, signage and post-event highlights • Support post-event reporting, feedback collation, attendance tracking, photo and video documentation, and evaluation of communications outcomes • Support rollout of the NCIS Education Workplan and coordinate education programmes across clinical, research, nursing and allied health teams • Manage programme logistics such as scheduling, publicity, registration, speaker coordination and feedback collation • Develop and maintain tracking and evaluation systems for programme participation, engagement and outcomes, and recommend improvements based on data • Assist in developing education roadmaps for clinical, research and patient-focused initiatives • Identify, evaluate and adopt AI and digital tools to improve communications quality, content creation, event support and workflow efficiency • Keep up with AI-assisted communications and content tools and share practical recommendations • Help pilot new tools and embed them into daily workflows • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programmes and communications run smoothly •
