Senior Executive (Workplace Safety and Health), Eastern General Hospital Planning Office

About the role

You will support the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Department of the Eastern General Hospital Planning Office in developing and improving the hospital's WSH governance framework, policies and programmes. Your duties include coordinating workplace risk assessments, maintaining the risk register, conducting inspections and audits, and supporting incident investigations. You will monitor compliance with WSH regulations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. You will also help with WSH training, communication, safety promotion, committee activities and reporting, and support emergency preparedness, occupational health and contractor safety programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, Science or related discipline
• Relevant experience in Workplace Safety and Health, preferably in healthcare, facilities or complex operational environment
• Familiarity with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and relevant regulations, risk management and WSH management systems
• Good analytical, report-writing, communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills
• Proactive, organised and meticulous, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
