Senior iOS Engineer - Spend

About the role

You will lead engineer-driven product initiatives on Wise's Spend squad, owning the full lifecycle of features from planning to shipping and scaling. You will build and support the card product across five product teams, including core user flows like card ordering, transactions, 3DS authentication, bill splitting, recurring payments, and dispute resolution. You will write clean, maintainable iOS code, advocate for mobile best practices, and collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams in a globally distributed environment. You will also use data to improve customer experience and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep experience building, shipping, and maintaining high-performing iOS apps at scale
• Proven experience with SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency
• Passion for customer experience and data-driven decision making
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable pivoting when priorities change
• Strong team player in a globally distributed environment
