About the role
A fund management platform is hiring a senior finance manager to lead financial planning, reporting and governance for a portfolio of entities. The role works closely with the CFO and the wider finance team, and suits an experienced accountant who is comfortable with modelling, board reporting and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll do
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
Track portfolio financial performance and analyse the drivers behind distributable income and DPU
Run variance analysis against budget, forecast and market expectations
Give practical recommendations to improve financial performance
Build models and forecasts, and analyse the parameters affecting distributable income and DPU
Develop scenario analyses to support management decisions

Prepare financial and analytical papers for Audit & Risk Committee and Board meetings
Coordinate and draft responses to Board, ARC and external stakeholder queries
Review analyst reports, consensus estimates and market expectations
Highlight key gaps between management forecasts and analyst assumptions, and advise management for investor engagement and earnings communications
Track industry, peer and REIT market developments
Take end-to-end stewardship of a portfolio of entities, covering financial reporting, statutory audit, tax compliance, cashflow oversight, corporate secretarial and corporate governance
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Support financial evaluation of acquisitions, divestments, asset enhancement initiatives and other strategic projects
Carry out financial modelling and scenario analyses
Lead periodic review and upkeep of finance policies, procedures and internal controls
Monitor compliance with finance policies and governance frameworks
Assist the CFO in building a collaborative, aligned finance organisation through stronger trust and communication
Guide and mentor finance team members
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, analytics capabilities and financial systems
Take on other initiatives as assigned

Requirements
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Around 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years at managerial level
Prior audit background and/or REIT industry experience preferred
Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Analytical and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills, including use of AI-assisted tools
Commercial mindset
