About the role

A senior tax role at a global technology company, based at its Singapore technology centre. You will lead group-wide tax matters for a fast-growing business, working with finance teams, external auditors and advisors. It suits an experienced tax professional who enjoys complex, cross-border work in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

Manage the preparation and review of entity tax provisions and supporting analysis for accurate group reporting
Own the group tax consolidation process and prepare tax disclosures for consolidated financial statements
Manage relationships with external auditors, coordinate responses to tax queries and resolve audit matters on time
Prepare tax reporting and analysis for senior management and Board reporting, explaining complex tax matters and key risks to non-tax stakeholders

Lead forecasting and monitoring of the group's effective tax rate, gathering data from finance teams and assessing tax impacts

Manage Pillar Two compliance and reporting, coordinating with external advisors and internal stakeholders on filings

Monitor Pillar Two legislative developments, assess their impact and oversee implementation of required changes

Own Country-by-Country Reporting obligations, including traditional and public CbCR requirements across jurisdictions

Drive continuous improvement of tax reporting processes, controls and governance frameworks

Requirements

Degree or equivalent, plus an accounting and/or tax qualification
Strong technical and operational tax accounting experience, in-house or a mix of in-house and practice
Pillar 2 experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to build relationships across a business, lead people and manage multiple stakeholders
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, complex and changing environment
