About the role
The Department of Laboratory Medicine at NUH is hiring a Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist to support the newly established Genomic Diagnostics Lab, which serves the National University Centre for Genomic Medicine and national precision medicine programmes. The role centres on hands-on bench work, data analysis and orthogonal confirmation across wet-lab processing, primary bioinformatics, and methodological validation and verification. It suits an experienced scientist who can lead genomic testing operations and mentor junior laboratory staff.
What you'll do
- Lead and oversee wet lab processing for advanced genomic services, including sample processing, library preparation and sequencing, and validation and verification of test protocols.
