Senior Platform Engineer - Network Operations

About the role

You will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of the company's global network infrastructure. Your duties include eyes-on-glass monitoring of network performance and system alerts, leading incident response to resolve outages, and troubleshooting complex network issues. You will also perform regular system maintenance, optimise network performance, and maintain detailed documentation. You will collaborate with other IT teams and provide guidance and training to junior engineers. The role requires working in a shift-based environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations with complex IT infrastructures
• Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, firewall management, and network security principles
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work shift-based environment including nights, weekends, and holidays
