About the role

The Department of Psychosocial Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore provides psychosocial care to cancer patients, survivors and their families. This full-time role involves working with other healthcare professionals and within multi-disciplinary teams, with opportunities to collaborate with other cancer-related agencies. It suits a registered or registration-eligible clinical psychologist who is meticulous, organised and comfortable working both in a team and independently.

What you'll do

Provide counselling and psychotherapy services
Conduct psychosocial assessments
Collaborate with other stakeholders to deliver holistic patient care
Facilitate psycho-education initiatives such as talks and education materials on psychological coping with cancer

Contribute to the development, implementation and presentation or publication of clinical and research projects

Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Masters or Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
Registered or eligible for registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP) under the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS)
Demonstrated competency for the Clinical Psychologist position; at least 4 years for the Senior Clinical Psychologist position
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Meticulous and organised with good written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player able to work independently
