About the role

NTUC Health is hiring a senior infrastructure specialist to lead the architecture, deployment and daily running of its enterprise hybrid environment. You will work across cloud and on-premises systems, networking and virtualization, and act as a technical lead for the wider IT team. The role suits an experienced infrastructure engineer who is comfortable owning projects, managing vendors and guiding junior colleagues.

What you'll do

Design, deploy and maintain on-premises systems and cloud environments on GCP and AWS, keeping them available, performant and scalable
Oversee network architecture covering SD-WAN, Cisco and Juniper equipment, Fortinet firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE and wireless, and enforce security controls such as access management and encryption in line with healthcare compliance standards

Lead infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades and system deployments, and push automation and orchestration through infrastructure as code and containerization

Develop, test and run disaster recovery and business continuity plans so disruption to operations is kept to a minimum

Source and assess suitable solutions, and manage vendors, system integrators and service providers against SLAs and performance targets

Act as an escalation point for complex technical problems, troubleshooting at an advanced level and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise hybrid infrastructure
Proven experience designing, deploying and administering cloud, server and network infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN, Cisco/Juniper switches and routers, Fortinet firewalls, load balancers and link controllers, Cisco ISE and enterprise wireless networks
Track record of planning, implementing and simulating disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to handle high-pressure incident escalations
