Assess and analyse patients' speech and swallowing problems using sound clinical reasoning. Plan and carry out treatment based on current evidence while ensuring patient safety. Monitor progress and keep accurate, confidential records and reports. Work closely with the care team, attending ward rounds, clinics and meetings. Supervise therapy assistants, students and junior staff, and take part in departmental training and improvement activities.
